about
This track marks the first collaboration on the album between two people who met completely on the off chance. Andreas and I touched on a musical common ground and put down an idea of his based around drums and piano, live, in an afternoon. Upon Andreas's departure back to Germany, I was left to flesh the track out with lyrics and additional instrumentation.
lyrics
Don’t look, I cute
hands shaking, we're wasting away
broken, faces
hardcases, left at the door.
Walk, alone
it's ok
it's not your fault
we just got lost
in the space between
our heads
don’t pour your face again
on me.
Every, plan failed
the ships sailed, pitch black eyes
she spits, regrets
forgets, right from wrong
another lover, he's no brother
or friend of mine
coz you cant take, my place
i made mistakes
so cherish this moment in time.
Wait, right here
i can't just leave you now
we might have more, to say
pick up where we left off
another day.
